Somatic sex coaching sessions for women and people in intimate partnership.
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom, are trauma-informed, and are paced to what your nervous system is ready for.
Each session is guided by what's most alive for you and the situation that you bring. Some common areas we explore together include:
Healing & reconnection.
Recovering from sexual trauma or abuse
Reconnecting with feeling and sensation after numbness or disconnection
Working with pelvic pain or tension (alongside pelvic floor specialists when needed)
Releasing shame and building a new, kinder relationship with your body
Healing old wounds from past relationships or family patterns
Arousal & pleasure.
Understanding how your body experiences arousal and what helps you feel turned on
Expanding your capacity for pleasure and trying new things
Learning how to orgasm, or discovering different types of orgasms
Learning about your body's anatomy and how to touch yourself in ways that feel good
Exploring the energetic dimensions of pleasure
Communication & intimacy.
Learning to feel and communicate what you want (and don't want) to yourself and partners
Understanding embodied consent—learning to feel your yes, no, and maybe in your body, not just in your head
Setting boundaries that feel good and clear
Navigating differences in desire between you and your partner
Healing after betrayal, affairs, or broken trust
Understanding your patterns in relationships—how you protect yourself, pursue connection, withdraw, or lose yourself
Reconnecting with a partner after disconnection, life changes, or long periods without intimacy
Learning to stay present during conflict instead of shutting down or leaving your body
Sexual awakening & everyday eroticism.
Connecting with your body's rhythms and cycles
Going deeper into your erotic imagination, fantasies, and what truly turns you on
Bringing more sensuality and pleasure into your everyday life, not just in the bedroom
Exploring relationship structures that feel authentic for you (monogamy, non-monogamy, etc.
What to expect in a session.
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom. The session flow typically includes:
Opening: We begin by checking in with what is present for you—what is happening in your body, what you are longing for, what feels most alive or most tender right now.
Main Work: This might include talking and exploring what is coming up for you, guided body awareness practices, breathwork, nervous system practices, or coached self-touch (if appropriate and consensual). For partnership sessions, we might work with role-play, communication exercises, or other creative ways to explore relational patterns and dynamics. I follow what your body (or bodies) are showing us rather than imposing a predetermined agenda.
Integration: We always leave time to process what emerged, ground back into your body, and identify any practices for between sessions.
I recommend you create a safe, comfortable, and private space for your session—somewhere you will not be interrupted, with water nearby, and whatever helps you feel grounded (blankets, pillows, candles, etc.).

Somatic sex coaching is a body-based approach to sexual health and pleasure. Instead of just talking about what is in your head, we listen to what your body is saying too. We use body-centered tools like awareness practices, breathwork, mindfulness, guided self-touch, and other practices to explore what you are experiencing sexually and where you want to get to. It is educational, hands-on (self-touch, not me touching you), and deeply focused on what your body is telling you.
-
I integrate several body-based approaches to support you:
Somatic Sexology & Sex Coaching — Body-centered sex education and practices including breath work, nervous system practices, guided self-touch and pleasure exploration (always clothes on, always led by you), understanding arousal and orgasm, and learning how your unique body responds.
Process-Oriented Psychology — Following what is emerging in the moment rather than following a predetermined plan—working with dreams, body sensations, relationship dynamics, and what wants to be felt.
Womb Awakening Practices — Connecting to the deep intelligence of your pelvis and womb, understanding your body's cycles and rhythms, and reconnecting with your erotic and creative life force.
Nervous System Education — Understanding when you feel safe versus when you are in protection mode, and building your capacity to stay present with sensation and pleasure.

Yes. As a licensed psychotherapist trained in trauma work, I can work with trauma therapeutically when that is what is needed. We work with your nervous system first and foremost, establishing safety and resources before anything else. This means:
No rushing. Healing from trauma or reconnection after disconnection is not linear. We move at the pace that feels right in your body, not according to any predetermined timeline.
Your body leads. I follow what is emerging for you rather than imposing prescriptive techniques or scripts. Some sessions might be entirely talking and awareness practices. Others might include guided self-touch or embodiment exercises, but only when your body signals readiness.
Integration over breakthrough. Real, lasting transformation happens through practice and patience, not forced catharsis. We build slowly, gently, and lovingly so the changes become permanent.

When appropriate to your healing and with explicit consent, I may guide you through self-touch practices during our online sessions. This is always:
Clothes on (or with modifications you feel comfortable with)
Focused on sensation and awareness, never performance
Completely optional and never pressured
Done at your pace with continuous check-ins
A tool for learning, not an end goal
Many clients work with me for months before incorporating any touch practices. Others find it immediately helpful. Importantly, you get to decide what is right for you.
-
This depends entirely on what you are working with and what your goals are. Some people find clarity and practices in just a few sessions. Others work with me over months or years as part of their ongoing healing and sexual awakening journey. There is no pressure to commit to a certain number of sessions. We can work together one session at a time and assess as we go.
-
Your comfort and consent are paramount. You can pause, slow down, or stop at any time. I will regularly check in with you, and I encourage you to speak up if anything feels uncomfortable, overwhelming, or just not right. Sometimes discomfort is part of growth (like the vulnerable edge of trying something new), and sometimes it is a signal to slow down or change direction. We will navigate this together, and your body's wisdom always leads.
-
Yes. The 90-minute session is designed for people in intimate partnerships (couples or any relationship configuration). We can work on desire discrepancies, communication, intimacy after disconnection, navigating conflict, or deepening pleasure together. Both people need to be consenting and willing to engage in the work.
-
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom. This allows me to work with clients across Australia and creates a safe, private space for you to do this intimate work from the comfort of your own home.

As a PACFA-registered psychotherapist, some private health funds may provide a rebate for psychotherapy sessions. However, coverage varies between funds and policies. I recommend checking with your health fund directly to confirm whether somatic psychotherapy or sex therapy is covered under your plan. There is no Medicare rebate available for this work.

I occasionally have a limited number of sliding scale spots available for people experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier, please mention this when you book your discovery call and we can discuss options.

I do not diagnose or treat:
Pelvic floor dysfunction
Chronic pelvic pain (as a primary medical condition)
Structural pelvic issues
Medical conditions requiring clinical intervention
When these concerns are present, I work collaboratively with pelvic floor physiotherapists, gynecologists, and other medical professionals. I can provide referrals to trusted practitioners in my network.
